At around 1.00pm, whilst we were in Poynton, our house had a close call. The first photo was taken in March 2005, the second was taken today

Spot the difference. Our neighbour was in and says the tree and lamp post landed just at the edge of our garden walls. It's dark now, and it's strange not to have the familiar glow of the lamppost outside, especially as without we can't see whether any closer trees are about to fall...

Nic Bebbington's Leaving Do

Nic is leaving for a new life in Dublin. Since it was Nic, the leaving do was inevitably in Beluga's of Bramhall, the scene of so many 10 hours lunches for the personnel dept over the years.

Weirdest Fan Sign Ever

A big hello to Peter Newns, Chief Trading Standard Officer for Denbighshire County Council, who phoned to ask me to prove I am not selling counterfeight golf clubs on ebay or profiting thereof.

This is the best I've been able to come up with thus far.
