Deprivation tally (out of 8,414 English Wards, 1 being the most deprived):
The notion that poade's plush flat in a converted victorian nunnery, and george's three storey house on the edge of chorlton, are more deprived than my council tower block is as hilarious as it is cretinous.

Some mates got mashed and went to Knowsley Safari Park over the weekend. Haven't heard any tales from this adventure yet, but they've done it before so there's bound to be some. Last time, it was explained to me on Friday, two monkeys started making out on the bonnet, except the female must have been Catholic because she sodded off a little too soon, which left a nice white deposit from the male on the bonnet. Needless to say, stoned as they were, they were incapable of moving for the convulsions of laughter, and eventually one of the wardens had to drive over to them to tell to piss off.

So in the last few days I've seen Radiohead and Goldfrapp. And it's Goldfrapp who win the god like genius award for this month (this year come to think of it). Sorry Poade. Everyone go and buy both their CDs, and see them live if you get the chance. Utterly, utterly fantastic.
And never discount the pleasure to be had dancing till three in somebody's living room.

[Jumping Cow Game]"Thank fuck for Tetra Pak. They make groovy packaging for milk. They've also commissioned this game. We have no idea why, we can't see the connection. But we do know that it's good. It's plays like Mario in low gravity."
Doesn't Neal work for TetraPak. Maybe he can explain.

I laughed heartily at the Kansas Drug Tax Stamp satire that Narilka posted on Monday.
Then, with each subsequent page I clicked on it dawned on me it apparently wasn't a satire - the state of Kansas really was asking drug dealers to buy Tax Stamps to label their products with...
then I laughed all the harder.

Nack's Brighton page contains a couple of movies, most noticeably me on a dancing machine in Brighton Pier Amusement Arcade and not enjoying the experience.

Dennis Taylor's Snooker Trumps. Really? He'd better go see the doctor then hadn't he? From Poade, who's just too damn important to blog things for himself.
