Mum has had a cataract in the one eye she isn't blind in for some time. This makes her vision very poor - Vanilla Sky made no sense to her because she had no idea Tom Cruise was scarred. Her time on the NHS waiting list was meant to reach a successful conclusion this month...

mum: Yes, the NHS Trust has lost its contract.
dmj: Lost their contract?
mum: yes, they have a contract and they've underperformed so they've lost it. So they've stopped all work but aren't allowing the new NHS Trust to start work until the contract ends.
dmj: Which is..?
mum: April. In April they start a new waiting list.
dmj: What?
dad: We've contacted our Councillor and MP

And if they don't sort it I'll get my fucking air rifle out and blind the spiteful cunts who caused this delay - see how they like it.
